Speedball
This was the first day i played speedball. It was a really high intensity gane and I got super tired my legs are sore today!! Yulia and I went to the equipnent room to help mr neufeld bring the soccer balls to the field because we noticed no one else was bringing any equipment up. I think I need to work on realizing that its just a game and it doesnt matter if the team wins or loses, I should focus on how to make the class enjoyable for everyone because i get really competitive against the other team and i just want to beat the other team really badly

Friday morning zombies run
This morning Shiho and I went running again! we played zombies run. I was really happy with myself because I killed myself trying to achieve my goals from the last time I played. I ran about 1000 paces more than the last time I played and this time I ran 179 paces/min so that means I ran a little bit faster than the last time I played! What I would like to improve on is that even though I got more paces and more paces/min, I stopped running and walked a couple of times. Next time I want to run the full half hour without stopping!

Insanity
Today we had fitness and for fitness we
had insanity!! I dont know why but it seemed a lot harder than usual but maybe i just got really unfit. The next day i was really sore and in a lot of pain but i like the pain because i feel like i got something out of the workout. Next time i want to take less breaks around the end.

February 4/14
Today we did the beep test again. It was ok i was disappointed because last time we did the beep test I got 10.7 and this time I got 9.8 or 9.9. I don't really know what happened but I'll work really hard to get back to 10.7!

"Report Card" Post
I think overall I did well in participating. My friends and I always change before the bell rings so that we don't have to change when it's super crowded and if I ever forget something I make sure to borrow it from someone, and I don't know how many times I've been away, but I don't have many absences because I like P.E. so I don't really want to miss it. When it comes to participation in games, I think I do well in that, too because I get really competitive and I don't like ending class without sweating or having any fun so I try to participate in the activities to make them more enjoyable and to at least get something out of it.
2) Social Responsibility and Contribution to the Class
In my opinion, P.E. should be a class where everyone can just have fun so I like to try and make the class better for everyone. I like cheering for people because cheering for someone lifts up their spirits, makes them feel better and hopefully makes people feel more comfortable. Yesterday my friends and I wanted to play capture the flag so we asked a bunch of people if they wanted to play with us. We honestly thought it wasn't going to work out but we tried and ended up with 7 guys and 9 girls. It worked out really well and I lost my voice the next day. Shiho, Pallvi, Yulia, and Myranda made the teams while Nicole and I brought all the equipment. Afterwards, many people helped us put away the equipment and it ended up working out really well. I talked to some people about it and they had a lot of fun! I don't like to cheat when we have competitive things because I feel like I suck because I had to cheat to do well and its a lot more rewarding to fail knowing you tried that succeed knowing you didn't earn it.
3) Healthy Living
My family has always been into healthy living so most of the time I eat healthy meals and treat myself sometimes because I think its not good to deprive yourself from things that aren't very good for you as long as you eat them in moderation because personally if I don't treat myself once in a while, I crave a lot of really bad food. For my fitness, I think I've gotten more fit since last year. I never really stopped being fit because Shiho and I used to run every morning in July and in August I had lifeguarding courses so I also stayed fit doing that. Some barriers/limitations I face in participating is that there are also some people I'm not very comfortable with yet but usually when we start doing activities I forget about that so I think it's not that big a deal. One area I definitely got stronger in was my mental stamina. At the beginning of the year I worked hard but not as much as I do now. Now, during fitness I keep trying hard until the very end even if I can't breathe after. I hope that in the future I will still be able to get daily exercise and eat healthy meals to stay fit even as I grow older.
4) Digital Portfolio and Reflective skills
Blogging has been really fun compared to doing interviews last year. I tried to post as much as I could about what we did in PE and what I did outside of school until we had the band concert and had tp miss a week of PE then I started to stop writing as frequently. Overall, I think i should get an A
